I want to do MBA in XLRI ,jamshedpur .I m confused bcoze i m not a english medium student but i want to do the MBA

The only solution is to join a good institute which could train you in English, help you improve it. Side by side, you should also prepare on your own too. Verbal ability section mainly comprises of 1. Vocabulary - STart with norman lewis which is based on RPS system. AFter fnishing this completely, start mugging and using the words from the 3500 word list of GRE Barrons. 2. Verbal reasoning - I would suggest you to start with RS Agarwal which is a very conceptual book and the go for Arun Sharma. The most important thing is practice. So I would suggest you to start reading newspapers, magazines etc and do a few speaking/writing assignments too. For speaking, you can actually carry out conversation with friends or teachers or family. For writing, try reading any artyicle and write summary. This way you will enhance your fluency. Hi English medium is not mandatory. What you need to do is, you should clear XAT. To get admission to XLRI, candidates have to appear for XAT 2011. To register for XAT, candidates have to fill the XAT Form that is available online at <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.xlri.net.in" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.xlri.net.in</a>. Once the candidate logs on to this site, a full set of instructions will appear. The candidate can obtain his/her ID and password by following these instructions. This ID and password are to be indicated for all the future correspondence with the XAT Office, Jamshedpur. XAT 2011 had three sections `Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA), `Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QA) and `Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making Ability (AR). For Human Resource Management Programme around 650 applicants having more than 92.60 percentile in VA, 80.36 percentile in QA, 84.36 percentile in RA, and overall 95.03 percentile have been shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. For Business Management Programme around 550 applicants having more than 90.13 percentile in VA, 91.31 percentile in QA, 90.01 percentile in RA, and overall 98.02 percentile have been shortlisted for Personal Interview. On the basis of above information you can decide.
