    The only solution is to join a good institute which could train you in English, help you improve it. Side by side, you should also prepare on your own too.
    Verbal ability section mainly comprises of
    1. Vocabulary - STart with norman lewis which is based on RPS system. AFter fnishing this completely, start mugging and using the words from the 3500 word list of GRE Barrons.
    2. Verbal reasoning - I would suggest you to start with RS Agarwal which is a very conceptual book and the go for Arun Sharma.
    The most important thing is practice. So I would suggest you to start reading newspapers, magazines etc and do a few speaking/writing assignme

    English medium is not mandatory. What you need to do is, you should clear XAT. To get admission to XLRI, candidates have to appear for XAT 2011.
    To register for XAT, candidates have to fill the XAT Form that is available online at www.xlri.net.in. Once the candidate logs on to this site, a full set of instructions will appear. The candidate can obtain his/her ID and password by following these instructions. This ID and password are to be indicated for all the future correspondence with the XAT Office, Jamshedpur.
