I want to do my MBA at either IIM or abroad.Should I prepare for GMAT or CAT ? Which is easier?I prefer English to Math.Consider time factor
I'm a B.E.(mech) student at the end of my 2nd year.I don't have much idea about these exams.Pls consider me alien & give me fruitful solutions.Also suggest some reputed foreign B-schools.

As far as difficulty level goes, CAT is more skewed towards quantitative and analytical abilities whereas GMAT has very difficult verbal section. But preparation wise, content for both is same. A good preparation can help you get good scores in both. Feel free to raise preparation related issues.

Siddharth, Both CAT and MAT are equally good for getting MBA in India. IIM accepts High CAT scores (99 percentiles). For MBA Abroad you may apply for GMAT. Other Experts may bring in more knowledge.
