I want to do Ph.D in biology. How should I start?

Every universities are conducting their own entrance examinations for PhD courses. You can either appear for examination for which universities inviting application on the months of March-May. If you are selected, you can do research under a registered guide appointed by the university. You will eligible for Stipend during the research period. Another option is Part Time External mode which is reserved for Teachers and employees of selected areas. In this mode, you can register for PhD , and have to find a guide, appointed by the university and you need to submit thesis and research report with in a period permitted by the university. You can register for PhD directly with the college or through any colleges. In my Opinion, register through college is easy way.
