A Masters degree is required to gain admission to a doctoral programme. In some subjects, doing a Masters in Philosophy (M.Phil. ) is a prerequisite to start Ph.D. Degree. The Ph.D. programme is a full time programme leading to a Doctoral Degree in Economics. Students specialize in various fields within Economics by enrolling in field courses and attending field specific lunches and seminars.
