i want to do work in robotics field.what should i do at B.TECH level? what is the scope of robotics?

i want to do work in robotics field.i have passed 12th last year.this year i have appeared in aieee and iit entrance exams and expecting good marks in aieee.what should i do?selecting robotics field is a good choice or not?
