I want to get a job in a gaming company or Animation company. Should I play safe by doing B.Tech in IT or should I go for B.Sc in Animation?

Hello Divyajeet, Animation is considered as an excellent career option and is a shear skill development field. It is highly exciting and youthful Career option, which is equally rewarding for talented people. However to excel in a highly demanding field you must possess creativity, passion and patience. Gaming is still in its nascent stage in India. Till date there are very few appropriate programs available for Game Art Design. I strongly recommend you to do a Animation and Digital Media program which covers all the aspects desired to become an avid designer for game contents. Pay safe and feel the remorse all your life. Take a risk and be happy in your rise or fall. If you're creative, you can also consider going for Design and Animation. However, you must first check if you're suited for Animation. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this. Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose.
