I want to get into Clinical Counselling and Psychotherapy @ Lucknow
I have already done my MSc. in Applied Psyhology. I want to work in feild of Clinical Psychology, Mental Health and Psychoanalysis. Can you suggest a suitable course in Lucknow city??
Hi Roshni, Applied Psychology and Clinical Psychology are two different streams. One is based on the use of psychological principles and theories to overcome psychological problems and the other is based on clinical knowledge to understand, prevent psychologically-based distress and promote subjective well-being with psychological assessment and psychotherapy. Before you start practising in a clinical set-up you need to enroll first in counselling and therapy related courses. You may attend workshops which are conducted throughout the year for your advance learning. Then, you may further apply for internship in hospitals, schools, etc.
