I want to get into fashion management, how can I? How to know which college is the best?

I was working as a software engineer from past 5-years. I now want to follow my passion & explore the world of different fashion brands. I am not able to find the right direction. I had quit my job to pursue this & am 27 now. Am I doing the right thing? How can I search the right institute and path?
