I want to give IAS exam after doing a 3-years course. Which course should I prefer?

BA is better. You will have a choice to choose optional subjects. It is better you choose History, Political Science, Geography, etc., subjects. Even you can do B.Sc, but BA is better. You will be having much time to prepare for IAS if you choose BA.

It depends on your choice. Nothing happens if you do BA. You can still pursue B.Sc. Also, but keeping the availability of time of preparation for IAS in minds, I have suggested you to do BA. All the best.
