Yes, if you give AIEEE exam and get a higher score/position then you will surely be able to get direct admission to reputed colleges. Since if you have taken a drop of one year then stay focused on your studies for competitive exams.

It depends on which college you are applying . . some colleges demand explanation for delay in degree and some don't. Yeah and you will get admission to Some engg colleges but not all. It depends on the colleges about what is their admission schedule.
