    Dear shivani,
As far as i know for cracking NET u need a masters degree and diploma is not considered.
even-though PGDM is done after graduation and same or more effort is carried as getting a PG degree, but dis is wer diploma lacks & since PGDM is a diploma it is not considered in NET/SET.
Wish u all da very best,
    Arun

    Hi Shivani,
According to UGC norms a Candidate either has to have a Masters degree with 55% Marks or equivalent and if your PGDM is recognized by AICTE and UGC I don't see that you will face any problem appearing for NET Examination provided you meet the percentage criteria. For further information you can check the link below:

Shivani, why would you require MBA in Marketing for giving UGC NET exam for Lecturership? You must be a graduate and there you can give NET exam in one of your graduation level subjects. Inany case if you want to do MBA through distance education then you can do it from Symbiosis, Sikkim-Manipal Univeristy, ICFAI, IGNOU etc.
