Definitely you can get top and good colleges for MBA on the basis of other exams like MAT CMAT XAT CETs and many more on the basis of that exams scores you were get admission in lots of good colleges in India. -
You can pursue MBA from other universities like SMU, Amity University and Symbiosis Pune etc. There are also other many good B Schools all over India. -
If you are not eligible for CAT, then I will suggest you to start preparing for GMAT because GMAT will help to get you into the good universities. Many top universities and colleges accepting GMAT scores are those who are accepting CAT scores.

CAT is one of the accepting exams required for admission to PGDM programme. However, it is not compulsory.
