I want to go into the banking sector and hence want to do an mba in finance. Please guide how to choose a good b-school?

Ratna, if you have finally decided to go in the banking sector then one of the alternative options I suggest is that you appear for the Probationay Officer's exam of the banks. If you want to do MBA wirh specialization in Finance then choose a college which is UGC approved & preferably do MBA by reg

Its good that you have thought of studying finance as it has the potential to create a lot of jobs in the near future.
When you are looking at options for doing your MBA, you should always think of the fact that its possible that one degree might not be enough to get you the best placements

The Ivy league colleges providing MBA in finance are IIMs, XLRI, FMS etc. For the mid range, NIBM is the best option as it is completely focussed on banking industry.
