Ratna, if you have finally decided to go in the banking sector then one of the alternative options I suggest is that you appear for the Probationay Officer's exam of the banks. If you want to do MBA wirh specialization in Finance then choose a college which is UGC approved & preferably do MBA by regular mode of education.

Its good that you have thought of studying finance as it has the potential to create a lot of jobs in the near future.
When you are looking at options for doing your MBA, you should always think of the fact that its possible that one degree might not be enough to get you the best placements. What i am talking here is that by going for a dual degree like Finance and lets say Operations you hedge your risk of finding a better placement.
I am currently a student at the Delhi business School and its one of the best business Schools because of its placements, faculty and course curriculum.
I am pursuing a degree in Finance and Marketing.

The Ivy league colleges providing MBA in finance are IIMs, XLRI, FMS etc. For the mid range, NIBM is the best option as it is completely focussed on banking industry.
