LPU doesn't require an AICTE approval since it is already approved by UGC, a statutory body of the Government of India. I did MBA from Lovely Professional University but I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how. In addition to classroom lectures, students here learn via hands-on experiences which include site visits, lab sessions and so on. PPTs, animations and similar technological techniques are a regular part of classroom teaching too. The course material provided here enables to practice civil engineering using up-

    Hi,
I am pleased to see your interest in LPU.
Let me tell you that LPU does not require AICTE approval. Lovely Professional University is a university in itself and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India. AICTE approval is not required for a university to run a course in technical education as has been held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in its judgment CWP2056 of 1999 titled BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY & ANR. V/S ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION & ORS, and various other cases. To know about more accreditation of LPU, you can go through the link which I am providing he

Honestly speaking, you will only face difficulty with your own field as companies for civil are rare. Though, you will get definitely placed if you seek IT or software jobs. It's not that there are no civil jobs, but not in plenty.
Also, it is UGC approved which is equivalent to AICTE. You will soon see the AICTE tag on LPU as the process is ongoing.

No, your job doesn't depend on AICTE. The company will hire you on the basis of your talent and knowledge.
If you are capable of that job no one can stop it. If you are not you have to work hard.

Hi, If a university is UGC approved then AICTE approval is not required. So, you can join LPU. Since the beginning of the creation, when someone placed a roof over his head or laid a tree trunk across a river to cross it, Civil Engineering existed. There is one university far ahead of these universities, and that's LPU. LPU has ranked among top-100 in the Overall as well as University category by NIRF-2020 rankings. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities globally as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
