Christian Medical College, Vellore, widely known as CMC Vellore is an autonomous private, Christian community-run medical school, hospital, and research institute. This institute includes a network of primary, secondary, and tertiary care hospitals in and around Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Christian Medical College Vellore was established in 1990. MD Radiodiagnosis, or Doctorate of Medicine in Radiodiagnosis, is a Doctorate level course that is offered for the duration of 3 years. The course imparts knowledge about medical practices using ultrasound, resonance, and radiation as diagnostic tools. The course covers subjects like pathology, physiology, anatomy, etc. , and is offered by Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, with the approval of the National Medical Commission. Students wishing to pursue a Doctorate of Medicine in Radiodiagnosis must have completed their MBBS or equivalent from an MCI-recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 55 percent marks. Admissions into the CMC Vellore college in India are done on merit-based and based on the scores of entrance exams followed by a GD/PI round.
