    Hi Rahul, India holds a UPSC examination every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited.
    UPSC conducts civil services examination every year in the month of May and June and its main exam is in the month of December. The notification for this exam comes out in the month of January end.
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
    1)A candidate should have a degree of graduation in any field from any recognized university.
    2)A candidate in his final year is also eligible for the civil services exam. (IPS, IFS, IAS)
    3)A candidate's age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/S

    IPS Examination Is Conducted By UPSC Every Year.
    To Apply For IPS Examination, You Have To Appear In CSAT Examination, And After Clear This Examination, You Will Become An IPS Officer.
    To Apply For This Exam, Your Age Should Between 21 To 30 Years.
    Graduation Is The Minimum Eligiblity To Apply For UPSC IPS Examination.
    The IPS preliminary examination is conducted in two papers, they are general studies and the second paper is optional subject, which includes subjects like zoology, statistics, sociology, public administration, psychology, political science, physics, philosophy, medical science, etc…

    For ips you wil have to give the exam of UPSC there are three sections in it one is pre (CSAT ) mains and interview .

    The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected.
    It has three-step process i.e.
    Preliminary Exam (Prelims)
    Main Exam (Mains), and
    Interview.
    The eligibility criteria to appear in this exam are:
    A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
