The education system of India is recognised across the globe. Many foreign students come to pursue degree courses in India and vice versa. Degrees issued by universities that have been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) are recognised all over the world, including Nepal. Some of these universities include:
    Jawaharlal Nehru University.
    AISECT University, Bhopal
The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
    I. K. Gujaral, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar
    University of Delhi.
