I want to know about the education counsellor for pre-primary section after 12th grade or graduation.

Hi. To become a teacher in India, B.Ed is the minimum required and necessary qualification. Apart from that, candidates aspiring to become a teacher must complete their postgraduation in relevant subjects. Candidates aspiring to become primary and pre-primary teachers have to sit for various national and state-level entrance exams such as TET, TGT, and PGT after which they are enrolled across various government-run primary and pre-primary schools. To pursue UG teacher training courses, candidates must score a minimum of 45 50% marks in their class 12 or equivalent exams and to pursue PG courses, a minimum of 50% marks must be scored in their undergraduate. Candidates aspiring to teach in government schools will have to sit for a national-level entrance exam such as Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET), UGC NET etc.
