I'm currently in 2nd year of Civil Engineering in R.C Patel Institute of Technology COE. From my 2 years of experience I would tell that it's a good college. Faculties are good. In first year we had some young faculties who were not that experienced. But for core subjects of civil engineering which we study in 2nd year , we have experienced faculties who have over 10+ years of experience.
And yes, lectures happen regularly. ( Bad news huh.? ) And you go to defaulters list if you don't attend enough lectures. What has to be done with students of defaulters list is decided by respective faculty. Mostly they will give you assignment to sol...more
