YCMOU is a self-financed university functioning under the Ministry of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, and is recognized under the UGC, New Delhi. The duration of the course is 2 years. Admission Process: 50 percent of the seats are filled by the University/State/Joint Entrance Exam Counselling and the remaining 50 percent of seats are filled by the institute's quota on the basis of their merit. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates with at least 50 percent marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in the Master's degree in sciences, social sciences, or humanities, bachelor in engineering or technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55 percent marks, or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
