Being a student counsellor I have counselled many students who pursued graduation and post graduation in Agriculture BUT couldn't find a good job or successful career , reason being they have completed their degree from the college/universities which was not ICAR approved and this where the misery begins. LPU is first private university of India to be ICAR approved. Not only this it is also ranked 47th according to NIRF 2022. Programme Details B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Duration : 4 yrs. (8 Semesters) (Approved by ICAR) A four year Agriculture degree programme which produces graduates with broad understating of Agriculture and allied science with broad understanding of agriculture related problems and got expertise through well planned on-field implementation, basic concepts in disease, insect pest, weeds and nutrient disorders to enhance the production. The selection of the candidates is based on the entrance examination LPUNEST conducted by the university. The admission procedure is based on the University norms that are based on the merit of the last qualifying examination following eligibility criteria.
