For eligibility students need at least 60% in 10+2 with English and any three subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Math/ Biology/ Agriculture. Those who score 90% or above in their 12th board exams may even qualify for direct admission without taking LPUNEST or if you have minimum 80% in JEE Mains.

As of 2025, the admission and scholarship cutoffs for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program at Lovely Professional University (LPU) are primarily determined through the LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) scores. The cutoff scores are structured in categories, each corresponding to a specific scholarship amount. Higher LPUNEST scores qualify students for larger scholarships, with top scorers receiving up to 70% fee waiver per semester. Scores slightly lower than the top bracket still earn significant scholarships ranging from 10% to 55%, making the program financially accessible to a wide ran

Being a student counsellor I have counselled many students who pursued graduation and post graduation in Agriculture BUT couldn't find a good job or successful career , reason being they have completed their degree from the college/universities which was not ICAR approved and this where the misery begins.
LPU is first private university of India to be ICAR approved. Not only this it is also ranked 47th according to NIRF 2022.
