I want to know about the latest cutoff information for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture at LPU.

Being a student counsellor I have counselled many students who pursued graduation and post graduation in Agriculture BUT couldn't find a good job or successful career , reason being they have completed their degree from the college/universities which was not ICAR approved and this where the misery begins. LPU is first private university of India to be ICAR approved. Not only this it is also ranked 47th according to NIRF 2022. Programme Details B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Duration : 4 yrs. (8 Semesters) (Approved by ICAR) A four year Agriculture degree programme which produces graduates with broad understating of Agriculture and allied science with broad understanding of agriculture related problems and got expertise through well planned on-field implementation, basic concepts in disease, insect pest, weeds and nutrient disorders to enhance the production. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 90% aggregate marks (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent or Qualifying LPUNEST and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in: (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent

The selection of the candidates is based on the entrance examination LPUNEST conducted by the university. The admission procedure is based on the University norms that are based on the merit of the last qualifying examination following eligibility criteria. The final short listing is done by a personal interview and English is a mandatory subject as the medium of instruction is English. The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the LPUNEST. The qualifying criteria for the program B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture are mentioned below: Qualifying the test LPUNEST and have a 60% aggregate in grades of: -The candidate must pass 10+2 with mandatory subjects like English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, and Forestry. -The candidate must pass 10+2 in Agriculture. -A candidate must have a Diploma in Agriculture for 2 years after 10th Class.

There is no cutoff to study B.Sc Agriculture in LPU. I'm currently pursuing B.Sc Hons Agriculture from LPU.
