Since CSE is the most popular branch, there is a lot of competition among the students; as a result, a strong education and a healthy environment are necessary. The greatest university in India for computer science engineering is LPU, which has high placements and top-notch facilities. But when it comes to cut-off, there is no such thing because LPU conducts its own entrance exam called LPUNEST. Subject to passing the LPUNEST or JEE Main, the eligibility requirements (qualifying exam) for CSE are passing with 60% of the possible points in the 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or an equivalent exam. If the candidate passed his qualifying exam in English, the requirement of English may be removed for a candidate who has not taken English as a subject. (5% exemption for candidates from Sikkim, candidates from North East states, candidates who are in the military and their dependents, and children of Kashmiri migrants). The required cutoff to pass the LPUNEST is between 30 and 40%

Dear student, You must have at least 40 percent marks Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE (Main) For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in the English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) Note: If the Candidate has an 85 Percentile or above in JEE (Main) then LPUNEST is exempted. Admission Criteria Merit in LPUNEST, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria. The cut-off depends on the number of applicants, the number of empty seats, normal execution in the passage test, and a year ago LPUNEST cut off last year is as follows: 1. Category-I : 320 out of 420 marks 2. Category-II : 240 out of 420 marks 3. Category-III: 165 out of 420 marks

The candidates will be selected based on LPUNEST scores. The minimum marks set by the University are based on the number of candidates, a number of vacant seats, average performance in the entrance test, and last years cut-off. LPUNEST cut off 2021 is as follows: 1. Category-I : 320 out of 420 marks 2. Category-II : 240 out of 420 marks 3. Category-III: 165 out of 420 marks
