There is nothing like a cutoff system at Chandigarh University for Master of Business Administration (MBA). The eligibility criteria is very simple - Bachelor degree in any discipline with atleast 50% marks from recognized University/ Institution. Graduates of recognized professional programmes like CA/ ICWA etc. are also eligible to apply and you need to give CUCET- which is mandatory for MBA. By scoring well in CUCET, students can get up to 100% scholarships. The university gives Rs 210 Crores worth of scholarships, helping students a lot. To keep the scholarship, students need to maintain a CGPA of 7.5, which motivates them to study

Yes, CUCET is compulsory for Chandigarh University admissions. The university conducts the CUCET test for both scholarships and admissions to its courses. The test is conducted for courses in the fields of Engineering, Archcitecture, Law, Pharmacy, etc. Students with valid NEET/ NATA/ JEE scores can get admission into the BOptom, BPT, BArch courses without appearing for CUCET.

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.
