2 years agoHello Bhawana Raheja, let me out you at ease. There is a difference between cutoff and closing ranks or percentage. Cutoff means that below this value students are not allowed to apply. Like there is cutoff of 75% marks to be scored in 12th for students seeking admission in IIT's. This means that even if a student scores very well in JEE Advanced, but has scored less than cutoff in 12th then such student will not be allowed to even apply for admission in IIT.
