Top colleges don't give admissions just on the basis of 12th marks, they ask for entrance tests like AIEEE, UPTU, or other state entrances.
One way is management quota, that you can try.
Other thing is that some private colleges do give preference to 12th marks, even if your entrance rank is lower.
