I want to know copyright and patents or industrial experience of LPU faculty esp MBA programme faculty.

Hi, LPU has faculty with sound educational background, teaching experience, research orientation, and industry exposure. Most of the faculty members are from IITs, Iims, IIITs, etc. , LPU has one of the best intellectual capital. 70+ faculty/staff members from foreign countries including the USA, Germany, France, Russia, Romania, Poland, China, etc. Bring diversity into teaching. To enhance the quality of education, faculty members are provided with facilities like academic extension leaves for perusing doctoral/research studies, attending development/training programs outside the university, and in-campus training programs are arranged with academic and industry experts from within and outside the university on a periodical basis. One of my friend who is studying in LPU told that LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes such as IIT's, IIM, NIT's and other reputed institutions. The B-School of LPU I. e. Mittal School of Business has many rankings to its credit because of the faculty, curriculum and placements. Addressing your query, I wish to inform you that the experience and knowledgeable faculty who meets the UGC norms are deputed to teach students. The different pedagogy such as discussions, flip classroom, slow learners etc. Is undertaken to boost the students to think and apply for more analysis whose outcome is copyright and patents. I came to know that last year three faculty members of Mittal School of Business has received one copyright as they created an index in 'Human Resource' which was appreciable at many levels which shows the intellect mind of the faculty. In addition to this, there are the faculty members who have attained patents on their innovative work and their work also got appreciated. I am highly convinced with the faculty efforts and achievements at many levels and I can say that students who pursue their career in LPU and got guidance under such an intelligent faculty always have successful career.

I went very happy when I cam to know that, LPU is receiving regular funds on research projects in various disciplines like engineering, biotechnology, health care, agriculture, management etc. Recently, two ERASMUS projects, one on green economy and other on women entrepreneurship have been awarded to LPU by European Union. RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS Executing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with research institutes/universities and industries for the purpose of joint research, student and faculty exchange, joint seminars and conferences. LPU is working in one of the projects in consortium entitled Enhancing Green economy in 3 countries of Asia jointly with 15 institutes across the globe including Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg (OVGU), Germany, WMU GmbH, Germany, University College of Southeast Norway, Baltic International Academy, BIA, Latvia etc. Funded by European Union under ERASMUS programme. LPU has become a research driven university that encourages innovation in every field and has been recognised worldwide. # Innovative research carried out in LPU has resulted in 168 granted and 400+ filed IPR in the last five years. (IPR refers to patents, copyrights and design registrations) # 9000+ research papers in the last 5 years # 20000+ book chapters written by faculty and students in the last 5 years # 400+ research collaborations # University H-index 42 # External grants received 78.98 crores. # Conferences 8 to 10 conferences are held annually leading to research collaboration.
