I want to know if the NEST exam is different from LPU NEST and the syllabus for both.

Dear Aspirant, The National Entrance Screening Test NEST is an annual college entrance examination in India, conducted for admission into the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar, and the Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai. You can find the syllabus of this exam on the website of NEST. Coming to the LPU NEST exam, it is LPU NEST is the acronym of Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test. It is conducted every year for admission to more than 150 programmes. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. Being an alumnus of LPU I would love to share the pathway to find the syllabus for the LPU NEST exam. The test conducted for scholarship and admission to various programs at LPU is called LPU NEST. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. Don't be scared, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification? In addition to it, there are also questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for a scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. The application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). One can get the test altered and can avail a second chance as well. Well if you have studied well in class 12 why worry. There will be no problem for you. On top of it, this exam has no negative marking and the level of the exam is a board exam. This paper consists of a total of 90 questions carrying 4 marks each. Every section contains 30 marks (PCM) or (PCB) and a total of 360 marks. You can avail two chances. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for a scholarship.

Hello Devanshu Nath, yes, both these exams are different and conducted by totally different entities. Fundamentally basic eligibility for both is 12th and hence contents of syllabus is similar. There are plenty of sites on the net that will not only give you syllabus but also Q-A of previous years. Best wishes to you.
