    Admission to a programme of study in the University shall be made on the basis of written objective type Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) by the Admission Committee of the Department concerned with the approval of the Dean Academic Affairs.

    A Candidate must have passed or appeared in final year examination of theBachelordegree. The admission of the Bachelor degree. The admission of the eligible candidates would be considered in order of the preference as under:

    • History Honours,
    • History as one of the subjects at undergraduate level/elective or additional,
    • Allied/socialScienceas one of the subjects at undergraduate level not less than 5
