I would suggest you LPU Punjab for an engineering in private institutes if you are not getting top IITs in India. Being an alumnus of LPU I guess I can talk about this. I have few friends from the engineering department of LPU. And as far as I have seen and observed every branch of engineering is best there. Well, B.Tech is one of the prominent courses of LPU. It is known for the best placements, faculty members, exposure, opportunities in the engineering dept. Every branch of LPU engineering is best. Because they never into partiality or discrimination every student is equal there, and so as every dept. Like I am from the journalism department in LPU.
