Good do try for it. However, in case you're looking for other careers in creative field then you can also look at design and animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Animation requires good mentoring. Hello Krati,Hope you are doing well, It is very interesting to see that you want to go for B.Arch. It is a very interesting genre. The procedure to join it is a two fold method. Firstly, you must have minimum 50% or 55%(depending on the college you opt for) marks in your higher secondary examination. You will have to appear for either your state's Joint Entrance Examination, also called JEE or you can sit for an all India basis AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Examination)examination. After you qualify this examination with a good rank you must sit for another examination. The Second examination that you must go through is called NATA or National Aptitude Test in Architecture. This is a 3 hours test and it tests your ability in drawing and designing and other techniques necessary for architecture genre. If you qualify this too then you can opt for good colleges.
