i want to know whether doing two degrees at a time is illegal if one is regular and other is correspondence, from different universities?
i did 2 degrees at a time 1 regular and other correspondence, is it illegal? now my regular university is cancelling my degree saying its illegal to do two degrees at a time either regular or correspondence. please guide me. what r the UGC norms? how bharathiar university is providig such 2 degrees?

Yes Ranjan it will be considered illegal. THe way out can be getting NOC i.e. No Objection Certificate from the regular degree college and showing the same to the distance college. Otherwise one or both can sue your degree/s.
Above given solution is generally accepted. Ask the college authorities

One leg on one boat and 2nd leg on another boat at the same time is not good. If both boat go away then u r the only person who is going to suffer. U will not get any one. So better concentrate on one at a time. My personal opinion is Only Collecting Degree will not make sure to get a good quality J

Hi Ranjan,
Although, it is not completely illegal, but not all the Universities will accept that any other degree should be pursued along with their degree course, so the best way is to seek the permission of the University before going for 2nd degree, as suggested by Mr. Gautam.
