I want to know whether I should write the 1st year exam of BE in CSE after a Diploma lateral entry.

Hello Devanshu Nath, when a student takes admission under lateral entry scheme, admission is directly into second year of 4 year degree course. Hence you are not allowed to appear for exam of first year. You will be appearing for third semester exam. Best wishes to you.
