If a candidate wishes to become a teacher in higher level, they can pursue M.Ed after D. El. Ed. Apart from IGNOU there are some more universities offering M.Ed distance education in India.
1. Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University
2. Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University
3. Acharya Nagarjuna University
