I want to knw about what is the minimum requiremnt for starting our own practice as a career counsellor i m doing my M.A applied psy.
I wnt advice on taking my specialization in clinical or counselling psychology.

It also depends on state government norms. To practice as a counsellor in educational institutions, an M Phil/PhD is demanded in some states. You may top yourself up with some counselling certifications too.

Your qualification is perfect for becoming a counsellor but I would like to suggest you to pursue some specialized program also because this is a generation of cut throat competition. Aligarh Muslim University's distance education department runs a course of such type.
