I want to make acting as my career but my parents r against it and say that I have 2 do MBA and not acting to get a good job..how true is it

I have just completed my graduation in BCA and in the final year itself I had decided to take acting as a career because i'm passionate about this field and like to take up a career that satisfies me but my parents are strictly against it and tell me to do MBA.i am not interested in MBA at all...
