Good drawing is always helpful for Creative Career and Skill oriented segement of Animation but you could always do it without having good drawing skills. There are Computer Graphics( CG) related work like Modelling, Texturing, Rigging,Animating etc or you could even become in between artist, clean up artist etc. Apart from that VFx related work also won't require your drawing skills. Drawing helps in pre-production and Storyboard or conceptulization and visual character development. But make no mistake, you must possess Creative Brain to grow and a big patience to work long on projects.Hope this information helps
    regards
