The exam for I.A.S , I.P.S, I.F.S and other Central Services group "A" and "B" is conducted by the UPSC known as the CSE (Civil Services Examination) . So basically you don't have to prepare separately for I.P.S. The service is recommended to you on the basis of your rank and preference. For further
