I would personally suggest you to take coaching, as it would help you more than you can help yourself alone. A teacher can tell you the various tips and tricks to approach questions and answer them with ease, within minutes without heavy calculations as there is shortage of time in any exam. Please buy a book of any good publication which has enough questions and mock papers. Here are the topics you should focus on :

    • Number system
    • Average
    • Percentage
    • Profit, loss and discount
    • Simple and compound interest
    • Trigonometry
    • Mensuration
    • Set theory
    • Geometry
    • Algebra
    • Permutations and combinations
    • Probability
    • Ratio and proportion
    • Partnership
    • Mixtures and All

In case you don't have any prior mathematical knowledge and are preparing for the IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test), it could be helpful to concentrate on the subsequent chapters of 10+2 level mathematics:

    2. Algebra: The fundamental ideas of algebra, such as polynomials, linear and quadratic equations, are crucial for resolving mathematical issues.

    3. Geometry: Since aptitude exams frequently cover these topics, familiarize yourself with the fundamental

No, one cannot change the exam centre after IPMAT admit card has been issued. One cannot take the exam at any other centre other than the one mentioned in their admit card, either. So make an informed decision at time of selecting the test city in the IPMAT application form.

No, candidates do not have to pay any fee for IPMAT form correction. The facility is provided to candidates free of cost. However, if they have made an error in a field that is not available for editing, then, they will have to fill a fresh IPMAT form before submission deadline and pay the application fee again.

IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak have similar syllabus but they differ in terms of difficulty level. IPMAT Indore exam has 3 sections based on Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills but the IPMAT Rohtak exam has an extra section on Logical Reasoning.

Level of difficulty of IPMAT Indore is slightly higher than IPMAT Rohtak as seen in the previous years. Also, IPMAT Indore scores are accepted by over 10 BSchools including IIM Sirmaur, IIM Shillong, IIM Ranchi, etc. but IPMAT Rohtak scores are accepted only by IIM Rohtak.
