I want to pursue aircraft maintenance engineering. What should I do?

Hi Hrishikesh, A course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not a degree but a license course and only those institutes approved by the DGCA can impart training in this subject. This training course is rigorous and only a few institutes offer training on heavy aircraft and jet engines. -&gt; Eligibility : A student from the Science stream with a minimum of 50% (some institutes need 60%) in class 12th is eligible for a 3 year certificate course on aircraft maintenance engineering conducted by training schools approved by the DGCA. -&gt; Some of the institutes offering the course are : -School of Aviation Science and Technology -Delhi Flying Club, Delhi -Indian Institute of Aeronautical engineering, Dehradun -Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology, Chennai and many others The list of recognized institutes offering the AME course is available at <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.dgca.nic.in" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>http://www.dgca.nic.in</a>.
