I want to pursue B.Arch from IIT, Kharagpur. What sort of rank do I need in JEE Main paper 2 as JEE Advance is not for paper 2 candidate?

    Hello,
    For JEE Main Paper 2, around 2 lakhs candidates appear in the Exam for seeking career in the Architecture field. Last year the JEE Main Paper 2 Cutoff was as follows
    General -81 Marks
    OBC -49 Marks
    SC-32 Marks
    ST-27 Marks

    No, there is one more exam (AAT) after JEE Mains paper 2 which you need to clear. Based on that AIR, you will be selected.

    There isnt any specific criteria because each year scenario keeps on changing. Approximately 180k-200k aspirants take B.Arch paper each year. Till 2016, boards percentage use to play a crucial role in deciding ones rank. More than 250 is a good score and the aptitude section is easy so according to me 250+ is really a good score,and to bring 250+ you have to answer atleast 10 correct answer in maths its more than enough as the aptitude section.
