I want to pursue B.Sc in psychology abroad on the basis of my class 12th CBSE result. For this, I require a scholarship. What should I do?
I scored 94.6% in class 10th ICSE board examination and 95% in class 12th CBSE board examination. I am from a middle-class family and cannot study abroad without a scholarship.

Hi Siddharth,
Yours is a very good profile academically and obtaining a scholarship should't be too difficult. The tricky part here would be to apply to universities on time, note that the sooner you apply higher the chances of receiving an aid from the university. Now when it comes to applying for scholarship they are majorly given on merit and the applicants are selected by the universities on merit basis. Hi there,
With 40% marks in your 12th CBSE, the eligibility for admission to the B.A. Mass Communication and Journalism program at LPU may be a bit challenging. Typically, universities like LPU have a minimum requirement of around 50% to 60% in 12th grade for general admission to many of their undergraduate programs. However, LPU has a flexible admission process and might offer some flexibility based on other criteria, such as entrance exam performance (like LPUNEST) or other qualifications.
I would recommend reaching out to the Admission Office at LPU to get more specific information on whether they can consider your application and if

In addition to admission, you are also eligible for a merit-based scholarship, which can offer up to 50% reduction in tuition fees, depending on the exact percentage bracket and availability under the scholarship policy.
The admission process is simple and entirely online. You'll need to register on LPU's official admission portal, fi
The UP Board syllabus 2025-26 class 10 is different from CBSE and ICSE in terms of structure, language, and content. While many topics may be similar, the way they are taught and tested can be different. UP Board mainly follows the NCERT pattern but adapts it to the state board's requirements. Students who switch from CBSE or ICSE to UP Board may notice some changes. However, all boards aim to provide quality education and basic knowledge in each subject.
One of the accepted qualifications to get admission at MAAC, Preet Vihar is CBSE Class 12. Yet, students who completed education in ISC and other recognised boards are also able. In majority of the certificate and Diploma courses, it is pre-requisite that one passes Class 12. There are no limiting restrictions to being the board affiliated.
