If you don't want to go outside of your hometown, then you should take admission in MMUT with no doubt. But if you want a good placement and good study and a good future, then you should go in HBTU, it is the best state University in UP. MMUT takes admission based on CUET but HBTU KANPUR takes admission based on JEE Mains score. HBTU being 41 years older than MMMUT have better alumni base. HBTU gives you more opportunities and a good environment to make your future, many core companies visited in HBTU KANPUR, to recruit mechanical engineering students oncampus, which is not same with MMUT GORAKHPUR
