I want to pursue B.tech in mechanical engg. I have two options-MMMUT and HBTU. Which one should I choose? (My hometown is Gorakhpur)

Both college are comparable for mechanical branch, you can choose any options. If you want to be hostellers choose HBTU otherwise choose MMMUT and will near to your home Town.

If you don't want to go outside of your hometown, then you should take admission in MMUT with no doubt. But if you want a good placement and good study and a good future, then you should go in HBTU, it is the best state University in UP. MMUT takes admission based on CUET but HBTU KANPUR takes admission based on JEE Mains score. HBTU being 41 years older than MMMUT have better alumni base. HBTU gives you more opportunities and a good environment to make your future, many core companies visited in HBTU KANPUR, to recruit mechanical engineering students oncampus, which is not same with MMUT GORAKHPUR There are lot of core companies visited in HBTU KANPUR like :- maruti suzuki, L&T, HAVELLS, AARTI INDUSTRIES, RELIANCE, SAMSUNG, ITC, Software companies also recruit from HBTU KANPUR As I have seen placement records of both university, there are 1-2 core companies visited in MMUT GORAKHPUR which recruit only 2-3 students overall. Do if you can go outside of your hometown, then you should take admission in HBTU KANPUR without any doubt, as it'll go a good decision for your bright future.
