Lovely Professional University is best for pursuing B.Sc. In Biotechnology as my cousin is pursuing second year now from LPU. According to my cousin, the views shared by him are: Live projects spread across five semesters help develop research aptitude in students. The course offers specializations in Dairy Technology, Fermentation Technology and Bioinformatics. The curriculum offers prime focus on fundamental and applied aspects of biotechnology. In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Participation in technical events, conferences, workshops, sports and cultural activities help in the holistic development of students There are BIO ANALYTICAL TECHNIQUES that provides an understanding of the basic principles and applications of analytical techniques used in biology. There is a course Human Genetics that deals with investigation of human hereditary qualities looking at real leaps forward and current issues in human heredity. The course will incorporate the investigation of hereditary qualities, and the societal ramifications of themes, for example, the human genome venture, DNA fingerprinting, hereditary qualities and knowledge, and hereditary building.

Hello! LPU is one of the best universities in India with highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs etc. It is having tie-ups with universities abroad. They have high tech labs for the benefit of students and they lay a great emphasis on the placements of students. Students are provided with scholarships etc. LPU is providing good environments and additionally Senior experts from industry and academia are invited to share their wisdom, thus enhancing learning. Well the eligibility criteria for your desired programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
