I want to pursue M.Phil from distance. Does it have any value keeping in mind that I want to give a shot to lectureship in future?

Hello Raj, M.Phil from an open university is indeed a good idea. Particularly for working professionals. To put you at ease, no there will be no problem. M.Phil from open university is at same level as from a regular college.
