I want to pursue MBA from LPU. If I did not appear for any entrance exam like CAT, MAT or XAT then can I get admission?

Hello! Yes you can still apply for admission at LPU. I had the same dilemma like you. I got admission in LPU through LPU NEST. Eligibility for admission is 55% in Graduation and LPU NEST. LPU NEST comprises of a test and interview. But due to COVID-19, LPU has relaxed the eligibility criteria and for admission in 2020 batch, you just have to qualify LPUNEST-Interview and also 55% in graduation. LPU has altered the selection criteria this year due to Covid-19 outbreak and lockdown. Now It includes the basic eligibility in graduation and then an interview. Interview will be conducted to check the communication skills, general knowledge, fluency, critical thought, etc. It is mandatory to get atleast 55% to take admission in Management programme at LPU. LPUs business school is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and programme (ACBSP). Which means your course will be accredited by ACBSP and you'll get a degree accredited by the USA. For admission you have to appear for interview which will be conduct online and last date to apply is 20th April 2020. The eligibility is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent and Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). In LPU, MBA programme comes under Mittal School of Business, is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation. Last year in MBA students got package of max 16 Lacs per annum and the average packages were of 5 Lacs per annum. Hi, This year due to COVID-19 pandemic situation across the country Lovely Professional University has changed admission procedure and minimizes it to online admissions only. Moreover, now, the interview only is mandatory to qualify and a candidate must have 55% aggregate marks in graduation. Thus, CAT XAT and MAT are really not required. However onecan take LPU NEST exam to enhance the scholarship. This year One can take admission through their website only. What will happen next year only future can tell. Forsure you can get Admission in Lovely Professional University which is one of the best and premier institute for management and business studies in India. By assuming your name as a Bengali candidate, the only difficulty you might have to face, will be the distance. Lovely Professional University is situated at Jalandhar, Punjab. It is a big city you won't feel any difficulty inside the campus. But overall, Lovely Professional University is really best institution for management studies. You are expecting to take admission in MBA in next year. Still you have ample of time to compare other institutes also. Hello, You can proceed for MBA Admission without CAT MAT or XAT exams. In LPU MBA eligibility is that you should have minimum 55% in your graduation (any stream) and you have to clear the Interview too. You can take admission through online mode on LPU website till 31st may 2020 with maximum scholarship benefits. Yes, you can get admission but you have to qualify the LPU NEST exam and Interview. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for the scholarship for most of the programmes.
