I want to pursue MBA, What should i do ?

In order to get into to a good college for MBA (Master of Business Administration).you need to be at least a graduate with 50% or above in your graduation in any stream. For getting admission in any of the reputed MBA colleges of India.you can appear for the following exams :- CAT MAT XAT SNAP JIPMER and many more. Out of the above mentioned exams.CAT is the main and the toughest exam. Hi Rihan, Admission process in India for MBA with CAT or MAT is very uncommon. All the IIMs and other MBA colleges require your CAT score as a standardized means of judgement. There are only a few colleges like ISB that offer programs that guarantee your seat at your undergrad level itself. Apart from this, in India, giving CAT/MAT is important. A few colleges have specific tests like NMIMS (NMAT) and Symbiosis. So you could fill up there forms specifically as well. Apart from this, you also need to prepare on the latest happenings in and around the world and also worl on your communication skills like GDs and extempore skills.

Hello Rihan, In order to get into a good B-School to do MBA, there are many entrance exams like CAT for IIMs, FMS, SP Jain, MDI; XAT for XLRI; NMAT for Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies; SNAP for Symbiosis University. Almost every college has the following admission procedure: Step 1. Form filling. Step 2. Entrance examination. Step 3. Shortlisting the students who filled the form for GD/WAT/PI on the basis of their scores in entrance exams and also on the basis of marks in 10th, 12th, graduation and some weightage is also given to relevant work experience. However, this varies with different institutes. Step 4. Group Discussion, personal interviews, essay writing are some of the activities on the basis of which students are finally selected for admission. CAT is one of the most important entrance exam to get into good MBA colleges. Faculty of Management Studies, all the IIMs, MDI, SP Jain, etc select the students on the basis of CAT scores. Some other busines schools like IMT Ghaziabad, IMI, Fore School of Management also select the students on the basis of CAT scores. Also, talking from the basic level, if you have just started your preparation then you can consider joining an institute for your preparation or you can also do that by yourself.

Dear Aspirant, The admission procedure for MBA programme differs from B-school to B-school. However, if you want to pursue MBA in the premier institutes of India, you are suggested to write competitive exams such as CAT, XAT, SNAP, MAT. FMS is one of the very few premier institutes that offers MBA degree. However, registrations for admission to full-time MBA programme 2016 are closed. Admission procedure followed by FMS for admission 2016: Applicants can register themselves for admission to two-year full-time MBA programme through FMS website <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.fms.edu" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.fms.edu</a> by filling up online registration form and by paying the requisite fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST/PWD category). Admission to MBA programme will be based on Extempore Speech, Personal Interview &amp; CAT 2015 score. Applicants who have not taken CAT 2015 will not be considered for admission.
