To become a news reporter, it's important to have a good reading and speaking skills. To get a good start in this career, pursue a course in mass communication from a good university. In order to get a job as a news reporter in a well reputed news channel, you should have a background related to Mass Comm or Journalism. A good command over English, Hindi and the regional language.
