I want to pursue my career as a teacher. Will B.Ed benefit me to become a teacher? I am a B.com degree holder.
I am just a graduate in commerce not a Masters degree holder. I am 33 years old. Is it true that to become a teacher of commerce or economics, Masters degree is compulsory?

Yes, but pursue the same from NCTE College.

5 years agoYes, definitely, B.Ed will help you a lot but without M.Com you will be just a primary teacher and that too of a different subject. Doing M.Com and then B.Ed will help you more. -
Yes Ravneet B.Ed is now became necessary for being a teacher in any school.

Yes, you can pursue B.Ed as you are a graduate then your subject will be social Science and English from class 6th-8th. After B.Ed you can pursue M.Com if you want to teach accounts and business studies of class 11th-class 12 students.

If you want to be a teacher in a government school then first pursue B.Ed and then you have to clear other exams, for private school jobs, B.Ed will be your basic degree.

For becoming a teacher up to class 10th, you don't need to have a Master's degree in your concerned subject. A graduate degree with B.Ed is enough to be an expert teacher. B.Ed not only benefits you in becoming a teacher, but actually completes the requirement for becoming a professional teacher. If you wish to teach higher classes like class 12th level, then you must have a Master's degree too with you.
