Now coming to the companies and the remuneration. At XIC, for PR, there is a placement week, where all the companies come in and select students. As far as I know, almost the students got placed. Starting salary for freshers ranges form 20k-30k, and it grows in proportion to your zeal. So, bring your best game on and you shall succeed in this field. Besties! Cheers :)

Hi Saurav, PR is basically a course which is related to Mass Media. PR is a very good course and has a lot of demand in the professional market. PR requires more of personality and communication skills, one needs to get his or her work done. A PR is basically the face of the organization and is responsible for all the client meetings and getting business for the organization, so one has to be really convincing and of course PR pays "well".For more info you may visit the below links tinyurl.com/2af6h9u tinyurl.com/35wkwfe Few good institutes for PR are IIMC, MICA, XIC,etc. For the list of more institutes, please refer to the below link, it

Hi Saurav, the scope is good for graduates in Public Relations and Corporate communications. PR and Corporate communications is usually offered as a subject of specialization at the post graduate level for which the eligibility is a graduation. Also there are entrance tests and interview prior to admission. There are also diploma programs offered in the same. However post graduation will have better career prospects. As for the placements, I would say no institute can guarantee you placements. It entirely depends on your capabilities and utilization of skills. There are rich and varied opportunities available in Business Corporations,
