I want to pursue PG in PR and corporate communications. Wat are the job prospects after this? I have done B.E in IT and 1 ye exp in Deluxe.

I want to pursue PG in PR and corporate communications course in XIC, mumbai. But i am not sure about the placement scenario after this course. Can you please give me a heads up about the aftermath of the course.

    I am ex-XIC student myself, though I did my Advertising and Marketing course from there. Anyhow, I do know a bit bout PR as well.
    I feel, course wise, infrastructure wise, lecturer wise, XIC is one of the finest institutes in India. It is a tedious course and you'll have to slog for 10 months to come out in flying colours! If you are ready to put in that effort, then please feel rest assured satisfactory placements (if not more) will come your way.

    PR is basically a course which is related to Mass Media. PR is a very good course and has a lot of demand in the professional market. PR requires more of personality and communication skills, one needs to get his or her work done. A PR is basically the face of the organization and is responsible for all the client meetings and getting business for the organization, so one has to be really convincing and of course PR pays "well".For more info you may visit the below links

    Hi Saurav, the scope is good for graduates in Public Relations and Corporate communications.
    PR and Corporate communications is usually offered as a subject of specialization at the post graduate level for which the eligibility is a graduation. Also there are entrance tests and interview prior to admission. There are also diploma programs offered in the same. However post graduation will have better career prospects.
