    Hello!
BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). All it depends upon your interest. While BCA gives students a good technology knowledge, it is advisable to complete your MCA to give yourself career wise push. After graduation, a student with a B.Tech degree has greater job opportunities than a student with a BCA. I would advise you to go for B.Tech for complete learning and better industry options. B.Tech will be for 4 years and leads to immediate employability while BCA is three year course but requires MCA at the en

It depends on where you wish to see yourself after the completion of the programme. Maybe, you prefer to see yourself as a system analyst or a programming expert, MCA is not bad at all. It is possible to do a Ph.D. after the completion of your Masters degree.

Go for B.Tech, then M.Tech and then PhD as it is having more opportunities as compared to MCA.

Both the options are equally good, it depends on you where you want to stand at the end. BCA stream will fetch you jobs in IT industry only. Whereas, B.Tech engineers will have the option in both hardware and software fields. Good luck.

You can pursue Ph.D in both the streams. It depends on your interests. B.Tech M.Tech has more placement opportunities. Although the companies who hire BCA or B.Tech are the same but the packages in B.Tech will be higher as compared to BCA.

Pursuing BCA+MCA from a good college or even pursuing BCA from a good college is far better than doing B.Tech+M.Tech (CSE) from an average college. It improves career prospects.

Hello Hriddhi, Well, each combination follows a certain curriculum. To make a clear choice, you might try to investigate their structure. However, if you want to pursue a Ph.D. in the future, I would advise making time savings a priority in your decision-making. You can select BCA+MCA since B.Tech+M.Tech will take 6 years as opposed to BCA+MCA's 5 years. Additionally, BCA+MCA is nearly comparable to B.Tech+M.Tech. Since you're going to get your Ph.D. it won't have a big impact on your career.

According to me, you can go with B.Tech+ M.Tech(CSE) from a top college.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is one of the core departments of The NorthCap University. The Department is striving towards its goal of providing innovative and quality education with high standards to achieve academic excellence. Keeping in view the dynamic nature of growth in industry and the increasing demand for the latest technologies, the department is starting five new specializations in B.Tech CSE namely:
    1) Data Science and AI
    2) Cyber Security
    3) IOT & Cloud Computing
    4) Full Stack Development
    5) Game Tech, AR and VR
